Charles de Gaulle airport

Our flight across the Atlantic was smooth and uneventful. We took a northerly route through Greenland. We had window seats on the left side of the plane and could see northern lights as we passed Greenland. Its great ice sheets were invisible in the darkness.
We did not sleep well on the plane, since it left MSP at 4:00 p.m. Upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport, we went to the Air France lounge, which has a reciprocity with Delta, and found a cubicle with couches in it where we can lie down and catch 40 winks while we wait for our flight to Cairo. As I write this, Abby is making full use of the opportunity.
